The chewy, melt-in-your-mouth, deeply sweet, and insanely addictive kind.
These make some of the best gifts ever, whether the event is Christmas, a birthday, or a thank you for a favor. Or no reason at all.
Caramel is a beige to dark-brown confectionery product made by heating any of a variety of sugars. It is used as a flavoring in puddings and desserts, as a filling in bonbons, and as a topping for ice cream, custards, and caramel corn.
Caramel is one of the most versatile of sweets -- you can add it to absolutely any dish!
Melt the soft, golden candy to drizzle over ice cream or an apple, mix chunks into cheesecakes and pies, or layer it with fudge, marshmallows, or nuts. You could even try adding it to pizza or tacos if you so desired... although not even we have attempted to be that adventurous yet.
