Horehound has a taste that's a cross between root beer and black licorice. This old fashioned candy is still made in copper kettles just like it was in the old days. Which in turn, enhances it's Horehound herbal flavour.

Takes me back in time

Super delicious!

I'm prone to vocal fry and losing my voice, and horehound candies were suggested to me as a natural throat soother. These are very tasty, I enjoy the sweet-but-not-too-sweet, slightly herbal flavour, and I do find them soothing on the throat when my voice gets raggy. Great service - will be back!

What is a Horehound?

Not what you're thinking. Horehound is a type of tea. At first taste I was a bit surprised at the taste. I wasn't sure that I liked them. Horehound hard candies are somewhat of an acquired taste. Now they are a staple in every order I submit, along with Root Beer, and Sassafras.
