We’ve been walking and working our way through the whole Sweets and Snacks Expo to bring you the hottest news on the best new candy coming soon to you!
Today, we’re talking about the Top 5 Booths at the Sweets and Snacks Expo! Out of the hundreds and hundreds of booths on the showroom floor, our Candyologists have come together and concluded that out of all of them, these are their favourites! They have been judged on fun-ness, uniqueness, brand representation, and most importantly: vibes. Samples and swag are great and everything, but if the vibes were off, it’s not on the list.
So without further ado, we now present to you, the Top 5 Booths of the Sweets and Snacks Expo 2025!

Darrell Lea
The liquorice? So delish. The vibes? Immaculate. The Darrell? Lea. One of our first stops of the day ended up being one of our favourites! Everything was so beautifully displayed, the ambassadors were kind and helpful, and everything about it was just so… good! Complete yet simple, upscale yet underplayed, businessy yet playful! It really showcased who Darrell Lea is as a brand! If you love any and all sorts of liquorice, we cannot recommend these awesome Aussies enough!

Vandal
Vandal Gummy Bears by WhIsBe are an artist’s rendition of what a gummy bear could be, ya dig, man? The colour of the bears rarely matches their flavour because “you can’t judge a bear by its colours." Honestly, we just thought the giant inflatable bear was super fun! He was a photo favourite, and squishier than he looks. Despite the bright colours and giant bear, the whole booth was pretty understated, which is on-brand for WhIsBe. The gummies themselves were pretty good too! They were a little bigger than normal, and even bigger on the gummy texture you love in a good bear! If you’re looking for places to take photos, make sure you get this teddy on your ‘gram!

Khloud
Khloud was one of the last stops we made in our BIG day at the Expo, and it could not have appeared at a better time! We won’t lie, after so many hours of trying all types of incredible new candy we were about ready to crash and sleep just about anywhere. Luckily, as we turned the corner, we found ourselves in this comfy little oasis of soft serenity. Away from big funtime music and bright colourful lights, this cozy corner gave us the break (and protein packed snack) we so desperately needed. The couches were plush and cloud-like, the lighting was soft and dreamy, and the 5-minute power nap some of us had was the best sleep we’d had all week! Khloud was a welcome respite from the (at times) over-stimulating booths around the Expo, and so we are happy to give it a spot on our list!

Oreo x Sour Patch Kids?
Sometimes you see a collab that just feels weird, but then it makes sense if you think about it for a bit. That’s how we felt when we rolled up to the Mondelez booth and saw a Sour Patch Kid hanging out with an Oreo! The Kid was as sweet as could be, and there were zero sour vibes at this photo op station! As for the samples; it was a world of flavours at this booth, with candy, snacks and drinks from all corners of ‘le monde de Mondelez!’ We were like kids in a candy/cookie/chip/chewing gum/cheese/cracker/coffee/chocolate store!

Katjes
Pretty and powerful in pink, Katjes had our favourite booth by a long shot! Games, prizes, samples, and TWO photo op set ups, they had everything we could've wanted! If we weren’t here to work on finding the best new treats to bring back for you, Reader, we could have stayed right here all day! The highlight was definitely the photo booth for their Cosmic Visions gummies. Complete with a huge crystal ball, they had all the fortune-telling props you needed to divine your future better than any cookie ever could! Katjes is always a favourite of ours for their candy and their company missions. We are overjoyed to see them putting on a show and getting the recognition and business they deserve! For good values, a good venue, and great vibes, Katjes gets the top spot on our list!
