Our Candyologists™ have been working hard, and pulling double duty staying hydrated. They’ve been sipping and sampling our sweet sodas, looking for the best of the best to keep you happy and hydrated!
Their refreshing research has resulted in a Top 10 Summer Drinks list that will help you beat the heat, and stay as cool as you feel all summer long!
The list is in no particular order because by the time the Candyologists had it narrowed down to 10, no one would budge on their favourites! So, the drinks are in a random order and it’s up to YOU to try them too and find your favourite one!
So without further ado, we now present to you, the Top 10 Drinks of Summer 2025!
Mountain Dew Summer Freeze
I mean… it’s right in the name, innit?
Don’t we all sometimes wish we could just freeze summer and enjoy the sun all year round? It’d be a drag for skiers, sure, but that's what speed boats on lakes are for!
Mountain Dew’s refreshing citrus base has been amped up with cherry, lemon, and raspberry! It’s a blast of rocket-pop flavour in every sip!
This delicious Dew made the list for its intense refresh-factor and its classic summer flavours!
If you could bottle a summer breeze, it’d be a Mountain Dew Summer Freeze!
Faygo Cotton Candy
Sometimes you just need a sip of something unapologetically sweet!
Summer is the time for fairs and festivals, and cotton candy is the international food of fun! Faygo Cotton Candy is the perfect drink to remind you to get out there and party it up this summer!
Only a clown would spend their whole summer inside trolling around on the internet. Faygo cotton candy is a drink that’s meant to be shared with friends – which means you have to get up and go meet with them IRL!

Fanta Jasmine and Peach
Fizzy, floral, peachy perfection!
Flowers are blooming in their fields, peaches are plump upon their trees, and Fanta is here to bottle those serene summer sensations!
Fanta has captured the essence of a summer meadow and distilled it into this incredible pop! The unmistakable taste of ripe white peach is boldly forward, and as that flavour fades, floral jasmine blossoms forward to add a finishing note of refreshing freshness!
I’ll be the first to tell you that floral flavours aren’t for everyone. But if you’re even a little bit curious, you’ve gotta try it! We cannot recommend this drink enough; it’s truly unlike anything else on the list!

Warheads Sour Blue Raspberry Soda really is everything it says on the can. The blue raspberry flavour would hit you like a punch in the face if it wasn’t so overpowered by how face-twistingly sour this drink is!
You know how a normal warhead is crazy sour for the first 30 seconds, then once the sour coating is gone it turns into a perfectly reasonable hard candy? Well the whole drink is sour coating! It’s just sour all the way down!
A lot of the drinks on our list are fun and out there, but this is the only one where your friends might need to be dared into drinking it!

Hata Kosen Ramune Lychee
Three sounds herald in Japan’s summers like no other: the droning of cicadas, the booming of fireworks, and the clinking of ramune balls!
Ramune has been a staple of Japanese summers since 1888! The lemon-lime soda is sold in clear glass bottles capped with its iconic glass marble!
To open, you need to press the lid down into the marble until it pops free and clinks down into the neck of the bottle. To generations of Japanese festival goers, there is no sound more nostalgic, or refreshing, than the clinking of a ramune marble!

Not everything on the list is some crazy new-age super-soda. Sometimes you just want to savour a sip of something classic, so we were sure to include something a little more down to earth.
A simple drink calls for a simple spot on the blog, so we'll just say this:

A soda so smooth it couldn’t pop a balloon!
Popping Boba Mango Passion Fruit Green Tea Drink
This drink is literally bursting with tropical goodness!
No top drinks list would be complete without a spot for a boba drink! This green tea drink with mango and passion fruit popping boba was by far our Candyologists’ favourite!
The green tea is not too sweet on its own, which is lovely, and it has just the right amount of earthy grassiness that we love in a green tea!
But the real stars of the show are the boba! Little bursting balls of syrupy mango and passionfruit sweetness!
If you’re used to drinking boba out of a straw, drinking it from a can is a little bit of an adjustment, but you’ll get used to it after the first couple sips! Just make sure you shake-well before opening, and give it a swirl before you sip to get the bobas swimming around!
