Baby Shower Candy Table Ideas You'll Love

1. Pink Candy Buffet for Baby Showers

Tip number one is, getting as many pink treats as you can. For supplies, make sure to get apothecary jars for your candies, pink ribbon, pink goody bags, cake pedestals, and pink bows, of course. You can purchase many of these items inexpensively, and also make them eco-friendly choices (which is so important nowadays!).

Candy buffets are always a big hit with guests - especially their versatility in the way you can customize them to fit a particular style. Our most-adored part of these interactive displays is the set up itself!

You have the creative freedom to be as over-the-top or minimalist as you choose. From decorative themes to candy selections, using varying sized platters and jars, to trendy labels or custom signage - the options are endless and without a doubt one of our favourite tables to style!

3. Red Sox Baseball Birthday Candy Buffet

The Candy Brigade transformed the Ritz into Fenway Park for the night. This is an awesome idea you can expand on to really knock it out of the park.

"Table centrepieces made with vintage baseball bats, a ticket booth for the table seating, vintage lockers, a dugout with gift bags for the guests, a clubhouse and even a Green Monster bar.  It was perfection." The candy buffet itself had vintage baseballs, bats, gloves and 12 feet of candy including Big League Chew Gum, Chocolate Covered Baseball Oreos, Cracker Jacks and more. You can easily adapt this idea for fans of other sports like football, soccer or basketball by simply changing the colour of the candies to match the team colours, and the balls to match the specific sport.

4. The Sweet Sixteen or "Quinceañera" Candy Buffet She'll Remember Forever!

It doesn’t get any prettier than pink, or sweeter than a sweet 16!

Customized chocolate bars took the center of the table. Candy kebobs, pink frosted cupcakes and cotton candy were some of our favourite additions!

5. Kids' Birthday Party: Forest Theme Candy Buffet Your Kids Will Go Wild For!

forest candy buffet theme

Candy Funhouse loves this Forest theme candy buffet because it is so creative! They used candies to create an original outdoorsy candy buffet. "For example, root beer jelly beans are used as the forest floor.  Lollipops are 'trees', and blue jellybeans will become a meandering stream. Your gummy worms live in the 'stream' with the candy fish."  Doesn't that sound amazing?

There's more:

"Buy some real-looking trees or use plants that look like trees and they become the forest.  Candy owls hide among these trees, looking for guests to pluck them out and take them home. Matcha green tea almonds and cappuccino dark chocolate almonds become smooth rocks placed in the forest and along the stream.  Chocolate rocks complete the picture."

List of Candies for your Forest-Styled candy buffet:

  • Animal Lollipops in different colours
  • Brown coloured owl lollipop (milk chocolate)
  • Light Green Colored Jelly Beans
  • Gummy Worms
  • Match Green Tea Almonds
  • Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds (for adults)
  • Chocolate Rocks
  • Gummy Bears
  • Sour Bears
  • Tree Hugger Gumballs
  • Chocolate Dipped Gummy Bears
  • Sweet Pete's Candy Shop

6. Bright and Cheerful Birthday Candy Dessert Buffet

Everything is bright & cheerful, just like a birthday should be!

The focal point of this table is the cake, and it's not just any cake. Its a custom made Kit Kat / M&M birthday cake. Think chocolate, fun, delight, crunch and sweetness all tied together with a bright yellow bow.

The other features are the bright yellow and orange Oreo cookies. You can make these by covering your Oreo cookies with melted orange or yellow chocolate chips. Or you could melt white chocolate chips and add food colouring. You can't go wrong either way.

This candy buffet may not look as flashy as some of the designs you'll find on the web, but it is simple and perfect.

All of the bright complementary colours and variety of candies, chocolates and treat areas are great. The yellow ribbons used on each of the containers, scoops, and cake tie everything together nicely.

The colour palette is composed of nude pink, black, and white, giving it the perfect chic-feminine look for this bridal shower.

The choice of candies and treats were just as elegant - Chanel styled Oreo, cookies, french macarons, gumball necklaces, rock candy, peanut butter cups, pretzels, cake fudge pops and more.

Custom chocolate bar wrappers were made for the Godiva Bars and party favour bags.

We love doing candy buffets as the give-aways for guests at weddings.

Making them fit in with the theme and the colour scheme is a nice way to add décor that you can eat... and you can buy it online right here at Candy Funhouse!

Adding height elements and fun glassware is an eye-catching piece for receptions and sit-downs alike.

10. Include Their Favourite Childhood Candies for their Wedding Candy Buffet

wedding candy buffet theme

Candy Buffets have become somewhat synonymous with weddings and celebratory events! They are a fun and easy way to add some late night excitement to the occasion. All of a sudden adults start acting like little kids.... in a candy shop! (And we just love that at Candy Funhouse!)

Stuffing bags to the brim... and yes sometimes we’ve witnessed exploding candy bags because they just couldn’t get enough!

Our advice for ensuring a cohesive and thoughtful looking sweet spread is to include an underlying theme whether that be a carefully selected colour combination or a specific concept that personalizes the experience. i.e. the hosts or guest of honour’s favourite childhood candies!

12. Farmers Market Theme

farmers market candy buffet

The best candy buffet I've ever seen was a fruit-themed candy buffet, using all types of fruit-flavoured candies. They were then laid out in small boxes to resemble what you might find at a Farmers Market. Adorable and definitely a "farm fresh" idea!

13. Hot Chocolate and S’Mores Bars

hot chocolate candy buffet theme

Everyone loves hot chocolate so we feature a variety of different kinds of cocoas, marshmallows, whipped creams (Vanilla & Peppermint), chocolate mint shavings and chocolate spoons which make the bar irresistible.

Then for the  S’Mores, we feature different kinds of chocolates, different kind of marshmallows (flavoured and coloured) and you give guests a choice what kind of “base” they would like – Graham cracker, spiced biscuits, shortbread and then other fun things like salted caramel drizzles, chopped nuts and sprinkles.

These are amazing and so fun and customizable – they are perfect for Autumn/ Winter weddings and events!

14. Candied Apple Bar

"One of the more original candy concepts that we’ve produced (and perfect for the fall season, by the way) has been a Candied Apple Bar

Guests choose their apple (Macintosh, Granny Smith or Honey Crisp) and their dip (caramel, chocolate or candy) and can then decorate their custom candied apple with an array of funky toppings including (but definitely not limited to) candies, nuts, popcorn and crumbles."

15. 'Fantastic Beasts' Movie-Inspired Candy Buffet

british inspired candy buffet

The presentation is simple, unique and so on the theme for Halloween!

"At Eatertainment we love playing with presentation.

We are constantly evolving the art of showcasing delicious food.

Whether it be creating a stand to hang pretzels or constructing a cereal bar, we’ve done it all!

One of our favourite candy buffet ideas is this Fantastic Beasts 2 inspired suitcase bar.

We decided to tie the setting, key props, and 1920's era of the film into a single presentation element using British candy selections, feathers and of course a vintage suitcase."

The case is brought to life in the film and in this candy buffet, holding a world of wonder and excitement in each!
