Love these. We always got them at the grocery store while growing up. There were butterscotch ones too. They slowly disappeared. British stores were too far to go to. It was great to get some again.

WOULD LOVE TO GIVE A REVIEW, BUT..

Why I never thought you'd ask. I ordered 2 of these on November 21. I've written customer service 3 times and received 2 answers, neither which was able to tell me a delivery date. I've left a voice mail message or 2. For the past 6 days status remains, "PRE-SHIPMENT INFO SENT TO USPS AWAITS ITEM YUCCA VALLEY, CA, 92284, US Dec 4, 8:10am."

I'm still hopeful that I receive these and would be happy to make a revision to this review when I receive my order. Thanks.

Love these drops!

I am so happy to find these candies on your site as I have searched for them for a few years now. I remember having these as a child and not since. I do miss those black cans, however. :) The drops taste every bit as good as I remembered, and I will be ordering more in the future - hopefully they will be available. Like someone else posted, it's the sugar powder! :)

Candy memories from 1968

My mother Jane bought these Taveners hard candies in the remarkable black can with their bright colorful image dancing on its surface. This was fifty two year ago I was only 7 years old at the time and they were like looking at my favorite kids cereal box. Inside the can, I loved the powdered sugar coating and the fruity flavor and shape of each candy piece. I will be giving these new cans of candy to her for her birthday in hopes of her having the same fond memories she had in 1968.

I purchased these candies wondering if they would be the same candies I had tried many many years ago and sure enough they were.As soon as I saw the sugar powder I was so excited because yes they were the same they had just changed the container from when I knew them.The fruit flavours are quite enjoyable and am so happy I purchased themIt brought back the past.I will be purchasing them again for sure.
