It's one of those "two things that shouldn't go together but you're cursing yourself for ever thinking that" kinds of things. Like cookies and beer, or corn chips and chocolate pudding, or bacon in a milkshake. You see it and say "gross, chocolate-covered sour leather? That sounds awful!". Then you try it. And you feel like you were a total moron, because it's delicious.
