These creamy, buttery candies are sure to hit your Sweet Spot! The classic treat is here in its purest form, the disc hard candy that has graced candy bowls for ages.
How did this super popular sweet start out? One of its earliest mentions dates back to 1848, when an issue of the Liverpool Mercury featured a recipe for "Doncaster butterscotch". It was manufactured and sold by Parkinson's of Doncaster in tins, and when Queen Victoria visited the town in 1851 she was presented one of these tins and from there, the sweet quickly became famous.
