Hip Hop Candy Fest

Talent Contest and Hip Hop Show

Hip Hop Candyfest began as a concept for a charity event and has since evolved into an anticipated regional tradition. This local event features a friendly competition where talented youths are given a space to share their art with the public in a battle royale for the Grand Prize.

The festival also featured sets and performances by local Hip Hop artists and acts in between contestant performances. But apart from being a creative outlet for young people, Hip Hop Candyfest began because of an inspired cause for Argus Residence, who houses homeless teens in two local venues. Candy Funhouse is all about making the world a sweeter place, and so we teamed up with Argus and the city to put on a great show and reached out to our community about issues in our own backyward that many didn't know about.
