Win Free Candy For a Year! 2023

Would You Like to Win Free Candy for a Year?!

For years we've dreamed of going to Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory. It would be the ultimate thrill to find a golden ticket in a chocolate bar and see the world of pure imagination! Unfortunately, the wonderful world of Willy Wonka exists only on film aside from the candy inspired by the movie. While we may not be able to go to such a factory, Candy Funhouse will bring the whimsical world right to your door with a continuous prize of candy, chocolate, chips and cookies! It's even better than a golden ticket!

Candy Funhouse is hosting the best contest of the year and it’s the gift that keeps on giving. If you love candy as much as we do, then you know a sugar craving can come at any time. If you won free candy for a year however, you’d never have trouble satisfying that sweet tooth.

Testimony From This Years Winner

This is our fourth annual win free candy for a year contest. While we can tell you how great the contest is, we believe it's best to hear it from someone who got to experience it first hand. This years winner, Bijon, was gracious enough to speak to us about what it has been like to be our lucky winner and receive free candy for a year!

How did you feel when you found out you won free candy for a year in our National Candy Month giveaway?

VERY excited! This is the first time I have ever won a “Year’s supply of Candy”.

What's your favourite memory related to candy that you're excited to recreate during this year of free candy?

It’s hard to pick one specific memory but for as long as I can remember, I have loved candy

Are there any specific candies you've always wanted to try but never had the chance to?

I have only received two boxes so far but I have been enjoying the candies because it gives me a lot of exposure to candies from all over the world.

How do you plan on sharing your free ..with friends and family, or keeping it all to yourself?!

I am giving myself first dibs and giving the rest away to friends 😊

Have you considered hosting a candy-themed party or event to celebrate your year of free candy? What would it look like?

I haven’t thrown an official party, but I have some friends come over to sample some of the candies. The ones that really the candy can take it home.

With a variety of candies available, do you have a strategy for trying them all? Will you go in a specific order or just dive in randomly?

I first start with the ones I REALLY like. Then I work my way down or share the rest with coworkers or friends.

Are you thinking of getting creative with your candy consumption, like incorporating them into recipes or using them for decorating?

I am a purist and like to only have 1 box of candy at a time.

Do you see this experience as a chance to explore new flavours and expand your taste preferences?

YES absolutely. A lot of the candies are ones that I have not even seen in the United States before and it looks like some are from Japan or France.

How has winning free candy for a year sparked your nostalgia or brought back childhood memories related to candy?

100%. There were some candies I have not seen in over 10 years like nerds rope.

With a year's supply of candy at your disposal, do you think this will change your gifting choices for birthdays and holidays?

Yes, some of these candies are going to be nice stocking stuffers around Christmas time.

Are you considering documenting your candy journey on social media? It could be fun to share your experiences with others!

I post on my Instagram story when I get a new box and some friends make their requests in which ones they would like to try.

What's the most unique or exotic candy you've ever tried, and are you hoping to find something similar among your free candy?

The Kit-Kat’s from Japan are unparalleled to the candies in the United States. They have all kinds of wild flavours.

Do you have any goals related to your year of free candy? For instance, trying to create the world's largest candy tower?

My only goal is to not get cavities 😅

Has winning this giveaway sparked an interest in learning more about the history and cultural significance of various candies?

Not so much the cultural significance but it is expanding my palette in the types of candy I like.

How do you plan on managing and organizing all the candy you'll be receiving? Do you have a designated candy storage spot?

I have a spot in my pantry for some of the candy but it looks like I am going to be running out of space soon.

Are there any candy-related challenges or experiments you're considering, like taste-testing blindfolded or creating candy pairings?

Not too much. I like to know what I am having before I eat it.

Finally, can you describe the first feeling you had when you received your first batch of free candy?

The first batch of candy was really funny.. it was over 30 boxes of cotton candy peeps and I did not even realize there was an actual box underneath all of the peeps. I am beyond joyful to have a regular shipment of exotic candies for the next year.

Thank you to Bijon for being such a delightful contestant, we're so glad you've been enjoying your free monthly candy!

If you’d like a chance to be our next winner follow our instructions below for how to enter. Don't worry, you don't have to search your chocolate bars for a golden ticket!
